Aunchalee 2013: The Official Photos

Thank you to everyone who visited us in the bridal fair at the Shangri-La hotel on September 14th, many of you had a great time discussing ideas with Yannick and he has drawn up some incredible designs – watch this space!

You may remember we previously gave you an insight into our new 2013 collection a couple of months ago; and we’re so excited to announce that our official Aunchalee photos have finally arrived for your viewing pleasure.

We have mentioned most of these dresses before but it’s about time we show you what they look like on an actual person!

The Slender Silhouette

Let’s start with some slender and fitted shapes first.

Amara - Aunchalee 2013

In a luxurious duchesse satin, Amara is all about the glamour with its high neck mandarin collar and authentic Chinese style fastenings. The fitted skirt is split up the side ever so slightly to show off a bit of sultry skin but still maintains an overall demure look. This dress is perfect for if you want to add a bit of Chinese tradition but still like the idea of a contemporary ivory dress.

Anya - Aunchalee 2013For an opposite effect, Anya is soft and gentle with layers of delicate silk chiffon that flows along as you walk or when a light breeze wafts by. It has off shoulder straps that can be worn anyway you feel. Either draping down your arms or perched on the corners of your shoulders as little capped sleeves. The simplicity of this dress is what makes it so elegant but we can easily add some lace appliqué if you would like to enhance the look with more detail.

You’ve already seen Amandine before but we can’t help but remind you of that incredible back detail again! You’ll be sure to make an effortless statement and leave a whole lot of mouths open with this one.

The Full Fashionista

If you prefer a fuller skirt then these dresses may be more your style.

Anita - Aunchalee 2013Anita likes to display two different personalities at the same time. First the sweet and soft side, shown by a three-tiered petal drape skirt in a delicate tulle fabric. This is coupled with an irregular asymmetrical neckline which demonstrates a slightly wackier side. This is all finished off with a belted bow detail that sits on the waist that ties the two sides together. Fancy adding a burst of colour? Change that waisted belt detail from ivory to any colour of your choice and there you have it, a unique dress all to yourself.

Arya - Aunchalee 2013Arya is a fantastic duchesse satin A-line with gentle pick-ups in the skirt that reveal a tulle insert that softens the rich and heavy satin appearance. The ruche detail across the waist flatters those of us that haven’t been able to shed those last few kilos. Paired with the lace back, this dress will give you a figure to die for.

Adhika - Aunchalee 2013This brings us on to, last but not least, Adhika. The large ball gown silk skirt is paired with a beautiful sweetheart neckline from the front and low back detail from the back. This is cinched in together with a wide waist band that shows off a tiny waist perfectly. As if this flawless design was not already picture perfect, you have the option of a detachable lace bodice detail that creates a whole lot more drama than it already did all on its own. This is a brilliant way to transition from your daytime ceremony to your evening reception.
